M-Tech Engineering are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Fabrication Quality Inspector to join our growing team. We specialise in the manufacture of high-quality staircases and balustrade systems for commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out dimensional inspections of fabrications prior to welding and after welding completion
• Inspect incoming materials for quality, specification, and quantity
• Ensure fabricated components meet drawing and customer requirements
• Record inspection results and report any non-conformances
• Work closely with fabrication and welding teams to maintain quality standards
• Support continuous improvement within the manufacturing process

Requirements

• Previous experience in a fabrication or engineering inspection role
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Experience within structural steel, staircases, or balustrade manufacturing would be advantageous
• WPS qualification or welding procedure knowledge would be beneficial
