Labourer, up to £18.50 per hour, Immediate Start, Glasgow City Centre

Responsibilities

• Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, and Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break each day.
• Fabricate balustrades, staircases, and structural steel beams to specification
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings accurately
• Carry out steel fabrication work within a workshop environment in Holytown
• Assist with on-site steel erection projects in Glasgow, including St Vincent Place
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
• Maintain high levels of quality, precision, and productivity throughout projects
• Participate in a practical trade test as part of the recruitment process

Requirements

• Previous experience in steel fabrication and structural steelwork
• Proven experience fabricating balustrades and stair components
• Ability to confidently read and work from technical drawings
• Valid CSCS Card is essential
• Experience assisting with steel erection on construction sites preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team
