Fabricator/Welder Job – Avonmouth

A well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Avonmouth is currently looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join its growing workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual seeking long-term work in Avonmouth within a busy and professional fabrication environment supporting the nuclear sector.

The successful Stainless Steel Fabricator/Welder in Avonmouth will be responsible for producing high-integrity stainless steel fabrications while working from detailed engineering drawings and following strict quality and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities for the Stainless Steel Fabricator/Welder role in Avonmouth include:

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
• Fabricating and welding stainless steel components to a high standard
• Supporting continuous improvement of welding and fabrication processes
• Following all health, safety, and workshop procedures
• Attending daily briefings and ensuring work activities are fully understood
• Completing work in line with production schedules and deadlines
• Assisting with NCRs and workshop observations when required
• Working closely with welders, quality inspectors, stores, and production teams

The ideal candidate for this Avonmouth based role will have previous fabrication and welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Experience within heavy engineering, manufacturing, or regulated industries would be beneficial.
