Plater / Welder

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plater/Welder to join a busy engineering company in Skelton. This is a permanent opportunity offering stable employment and the chance to work on a variety of fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble steel components from engineering drawings.

• Carry out MIG welding to a high standard.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Use fabrication tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.

• Perform quality checks to ensure work meets required standards.

• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Plater/Welder within an engineering or fabrication environment.

• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

• Strong fabrication and MIG welding skills.

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
