Fabricator Welder

We are recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to work for our client who are in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A WELDER:

• Read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel components
• Perform cutting, grinding and welding tasks to meet project requirements.
• Use hand tools, fabrication machinery and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure all fabricated work meets dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Operate lifting equipment i.e.: - overhead cranes.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
• You must have steel fabrication experience
• Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS:

Monday – Thursday 12 hour shifts - 4pm – 4am

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of up to £16-17.50 an hour depending on experience. 

Also includes £70 a week shift allowance
