Facilities Supervisor

Facilities Operatives– £35,000 per year
Location: Barnsley
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm

Elevation Recruitment are proud to be supporting our client in their search for a Site Maintenance Assistant to join the team.

If you’re the kind of person who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, enjoys fixing problems before anyone else notices them, and likes a role where no two days are ever the same — this could be the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out basic repairs and general upkeep around the site

• Handling plumbing tasks and small-scale maintenance jobs

• Managing waste and ensuring the site remains clean, tidy, and safe

• Putting up signage and supporting general building improvements

• Speaking with contractors and ensuring all work meets expectations

• Painting, decorating, and keeping the site looking its best

Experience: 

• Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, or facilities role

• Strong all-round practical skills (basic repairs, plumbing, painting, etc.)

• A proactive, reliable approach and willingness to take initiative

• Great communication skills for working with internal teams and contractors

Benefits:

• Competitive salary of £40,000 per year

• Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm
