Job Title: Factory Operative
Location: Outskirts of Maldon, Essex (near South Woodham Ferrers)
Pay Rate: rising to £12.71ph
Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 11:00pm (other shifts may be available)

Important: Candidates must have their own transport and a valid UK driving licence due to the site location.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable Factory Operative to join a busy manufacturing site on the outskirts near Maldon. This ongoing temporary role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is happy to support machine operators and general factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with operating and loading production machinery
• Support CNC machine operators with daily tasks
• Use basic hand tools during the production process
• Handle and move materials safely around the factory
• Perform general factory and production duties as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 11:00pm (other hours may be available)
• £12.71ph

Candidate Requirements for the Factory Operative

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
• Comfortable working efficiently in a busy production setting
