Faculty Health & Safety Coordinator (3-Month FTC)
Salary: (£32,080 plus London Weighting of £5,476)
Location: Kent (with specific internal locations and flexibility as required)

We are seeking a dedicated Faculty Health & Safety Coordinator to support a prestigious University's commitment to a safe and healthy campus. You'll coordinate safety activities within the Faculty of Engineering and Science, advising on health and safety matters across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting faculty to maintain compliance with health and safety legislation and university policies.
• Acting as local lead for accident reporting, investigation, and trend analysis.
• Coordinating safety training and ensuring records are maintained accurately.
• Assisting in conducting risk assessments, audits, and safety inspections.
• Promoting a positive safety culture through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will have:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification, with a strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience working within a scientific, industrial, or educational environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
