Family Support Worker

4Recruitment Services are seeking  a compassionate and committed Family Support Worker to work for our client based in Worcester.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Work directly with families in their homes and communities
• Provide practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs
• Help parents develop skills and confidence
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
• Work in partnership with schools, social workers and other professionals
• Keep clear, accurate records and contribute to support plans

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Experience working with children, young people or families
• Strong communication and listening skills
• A calm, empathetic and non-judgemental approach
• Ability to manage challenging situations professionally
• Good organisational and time management skills
• A relevant qualification or willingness to work towards one
• Enhanced DBS check
