  • Full-time | Permanent | 40 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join their team.

The main purpose of this role is to service, maintain, install, and commission water treatment systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and a high level of customer satisfaction.

This role is full-time and permanent, working 40 hours per week, with travel across the UK and occasional overseas work required.

Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing and maintaining water treatment systems including Reverse Osmosis, Deionisers, Filters, Water Softeners, and Effluent Treatment Plants
  • Managing relationships with customers and site operatives
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues both on-site and remotely
  • Completing installation and commissioning of equipment (subject to skills and experience)
  • Producing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Responding to customer requirements in line with technical and commercial specifications
  • Supporting continuous service improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring high standards of customer care at all times
  • Adhering to all company policies, including Health & Safety

The ideal candidate:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Electrical background preferred (mechanical experience also considered)
  • Experience within the water treatment industry (advantageous)
  • Previous experience as a Service Engineer or in a field-based technical role (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of PLC systems (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office
  • A professional and proactive approach to work
