Precision Field Service Engineer

  • Based within 1 hour of Nottingham
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK (primarily South), as well as Ireland and parts of Europe
  • Installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of advanced industrial equipment and associated systems
  • Delivering high-quality customer training on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Carrying out rigorous fault finding using first-principles approaches to achieve first-time fixes
  • Actively contributing to knowledge sharing across the engineering team to improve overall service capability
  • Supporting customers with spare parts identification and explaining technical requirements where needed
  • Promoting and recommending service agreements, clearly communicating their value to customers
  • Reporting customer feedback and service outcomes back to internal teams
  • Working to key performance metrics such as service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Supporting wider regional operations with installations and breakdowns when required


Experience / Skills / Qualifications

  • HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, with strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems using first principles
  • Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering excellent service
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience installing and servicing industrial equipment
  • Electrically biased (approx. 60%) with solid mechanical understanding (40%)
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Full, clean driving licence
