The Role – What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of mobile plant equipment at customer sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing mobile plant machinery
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed to industry and safety standards
- Providing professional support and advice to customers on site
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant, HGV, Agricultural Machinery Maintenance, or a similar qualification
- Previous experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or Field Service Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS card (advantageous but not essential)
- £45,000 – £60,000 OTE
- Company van and fuel card
- Paid travel time
