Due to continued growth, a well-established and highly regarded provider of print finishing and mailing solutions is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer with a mechanical and/or electrical background.

This is a home-based role, ideally suited to an engineer based in the North of England, covering a mix of regional, national, and occasional international travel.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of a range of print finishing equipment, including:
- Binding
- Stitching
- Laminating
- Folding
- Cutting machinery
You’ll support a well-established customer base, working both independently and as part of a wider engineering team to deliver a high level of technical service.
This is a hands-on role involving regular travel and occasional overnight stays, offering variety and autonomy in your day-to-day work.
About You
- Essential: Previous experience working as an engineer within the print, packaging, or similar FMCG/manufacturing environment
- Either a site-based engineer looking to step into a field-based role, or an existing Field Service Engineer
- Mechanical and/or electrical engineering skills with strong fault-finding ability
- Keen to develop and build on existing technical knowledge
- Comfortable working in a customer-facing role
- Flexible approach to travel, including occasional working away
- Full UK driving licence
