About the Role

Our client are seeking a proactive and highly accurate Finance Administrator to join their team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract in Halifax. This opportunity offers the chance to gain valuable experience within a busy and collaborative team, while being part of a fantastic business.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial queries end‑to‑end, ensuring accurate and efficient resolution
  • Investigate and resolve invoice issues, including billing discrepancies
  • Process purchase order and invoice corrections to ensure timely payments
  • Review and process credit requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve finance queries
  • Identify recurring issues and support process improvements


About You

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Proactive, with the ability to use their own initiative
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experienced within a finance or office-based role
  • Confident using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Good customer service and able to build strong relationships
  • Familiar with CRM systems (desirable)

This is position is Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm which also provides great hybrid flexibility, and will be from a salary of £27,000.
