About the Role
Our client are seeking a proactive and highly accurate Finance Administrator to join their team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract in Halifax. This opportunity offers the chance to gain valuable experience within a busy and collaborative team, while being part of a fantastic business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial queries end‑to‑end, ensuring accurate and efficient resolution
- Investigate and resolve invoice issues, including billing discrepancies
- Process purchase order and invoice corrections to ensure timely payments
- Review and process credit requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve finance queries
- Identify recurring issues and support process improvements
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Proactive, with the ability to use their own initiative
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
- Experienced within a finance or office-based role
- Confident using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
- A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Good customer service and able to build strong relationships
- Familiar with CRM systems (desirable)
This is position is Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm which also provides great hybrid flexibility, and will be from a salary of £27,000.
