Location: Home Based with National Travel but also the requirement to attend an office if needed
Salary: £46,000 per annum

About the Role
The Finance and Tenant Liaison Officer will play a vital role in safeguarding the financial wellbeing of people supported by Shaftesbury. The postholder will provide robust financial oversight, assurance, and audit activity to ensure that personal finances are managed appropriately, transparently, and in line with Shaftesbury policies, legal requirements, and best practice.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Reviewing documentary evidence, auditing financial records, reconciling accounts and monitoring petty cash expenditure to ensure funds are used appropriately and in the best interest of the people we support.
- This role will involve travelling to Shaftesbury care service locations to undertake these tasks as well as home or office-based desktop audits.
- Liaise with tenants living in Shaftesbury’s housing schemes, undertaking regular satisfaction surveys, periodic landlord checks and linking with colleagues in Shaftesbury to ensure housing is of a good standard.
- Provide clear and timely reports to managers, highlighting findings, risks and areas for improvement.
