Paying up to £28k + Benefits – A successful manufacturing business based in Skelmersdale is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their expanding finance team.
This is a permanent office-based Finance Assistant vacancy working 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
THE JOB
Key responsibilities:
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Overseeing the invoice approvals portal and answering queries where necessary
- Processing of cash/banking transactions in Sage 200
- Matching and reconciliation of intercompany accounts
- Supporting the finance team with other accounting duties as and when required
THE PERSON
The ideal candidate:
- Will be studying towards the AAT qualification
- Able to organise own workload with limited supervision
- Able to manage own time and balance multiple duties independently
- Have excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Have excellent Microsoft Office software knowledge
- Able to offer flexibility whilst working to meet deadlines
- Able to learn new systems quickly with on-the-job training
