Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Scunthorpe (with travel to Brigg) as they look to recruit a finance assistant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing high-volume purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the finance system

  • Handling supplier queries and supporting the reconciliation of supplier statements

  • Assisting with sales ledger duties including raising invoices and allocating payments

  • Supporting month-end processes, including preparation of reconciliations and reports

  • Maintaining accurate financial records in line with company policies

  • Providing general administrative support to the wider finance team

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a transactional finance role (AP/AR) is desirable

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems

  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
