An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced Facilities Management business, supporting a small but dynamic finance team.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and is looking to develop within a supportive and professional environment.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday. 8am - 4.30pm. Paid for 40 hours. 

🔧 The Role

You will play a key part in the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring accuracy across financial processes while supporting wider business operations.

📊 Key Responsibilities

• Managing sales and purchase ledger activities, including invoice processing
• Reconciling bank accounts and ensuring financial records are up to date
• Supporting credit control activities and following up on outstanding payments
• Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
• Handling incoming queries via phone and email in a professional manner
• Investigating and resolving account or payment-related queries
• Supporting the team with general finance administration and ad hoc tasks

✅ About You

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
• Strong Excel skills and confident using Microsoft Office packages
• Excellent communication skills with a professional approach
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to manage workload independently as well as part of a team
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn

Desirable:

• Experience using Joblogic or Accounts IQ
• Background within Facilities Management or a similar industry
