A well-established, family-run maintenance contractor specialising in social housing repairs is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.

The Role

You will support the finance function with day-to-day accounting tasks, helping to ensure accurate financial records and smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices (purchase and sales ledger)
  • Assisting with supplier payments and reconciliations
  • Handling queries from suppliers and internal teams
  • Supporting month-end processes
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • General finance and administrative support

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Ability to work well as part of a small team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
