Finance Assistant

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant who is AAT qualified or a CIMA studier, to work for an SME type business based in Brighton on a hybrid basis. This is a great varied transactional finance role, being part of a small team, supporting with everyday finance but also support with month end etc.

Salary: £33-38K

Location: Brighton, hybrid working

Finance Assistant duties:

• Processing accounts payable invoices
• Credit control
• Setting up payments
• Accruals, prepayments and journals
• Supporting with month end and revenue recognition

Skills and experience:

• Proven experience working in a similar Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Assistant Accountant type role
• Must be AAT qualified or a CIMA studier
• Excellent IT skills such as Excel and have used accounting systems; Sage or Xero
