Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with a growing PE-backed business to recruit a commercially focused Finance Business Partner.

This is a highly visible role supporting a key division of the business that is a major area of focus and investment for the group. Reporting with a dotted line into both the Finance Director and Group CFO, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the operation.

The position is heavily focused around business partnering, operational finance and project-based commercial analysis. You will be responsible for dissecting performance data, reviewing pricing and margin opportunities, identifying gaps within the commercials and providing meaningful insight to senior stakeholders across the business.

The role would particularly suit an individual who enjoys operating within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment and is confident challenging operational stakeholders when required.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with operational and commercial teams to drive business performance
• Analysing financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Supporting pricing strategy and margin improvement initiatives
• Delivering commercial insight and recommendations to senior leadership
• Leading and supporting a range of finance and operational projects
• Acting as a key finance contact for the division

To be considered you will:

• Be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• Have previous experience within a commercial finance or business partnering role
• Ideally have exposure to manufacturing, engineering or construction environments
• Be confident operating in a challenging and fast-paced business
• Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills
