Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 (DOE)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established business based in the Lakeside (RM20) area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional with strong construction sector knowledge to take ownership of the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial management of the business
  • Manage payroll, invoicing, and cash flow forecasting
  • Administer subcontractor payments in line with CIS regulations
  • Ensure compliance with VAT and construction-specific financial requirements
  • Handle HMRC reporting and submissions accurately and on time
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Support senior management with financial insights and decision-making

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of CIS, VAT, and construction industry compliance
  • Experience managing payroll, subcontractor payments, and cash flow
  • Familiarity with HMRC reporting requirements
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
