We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established business based in the Lakeside (RM20) area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional with strong construction sector knowledge to take ownership of the company’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial management of the business
- Manage payroll, invoicing, and cash flow forecasting
- Administer subcontractor payments in line with CIS regulations
- Ensure compliance with VAT and construction-specific financial requirements
- Handle HMRC reporting and submissions accurately and on time
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Support senior management with financial insights and decision-making
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of CIS, VAT, and construction industry compliance
- Experience managing payroll, subcontractor payments, and cash flow
- Familiarity with HMRC reporting requirements
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and communication skills
