A professional services business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and support the business through its next phase of growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role, offering responsibility for the day-to-day running of finance while partnering with senior leadership to deliver accurate reporting and meaningful financial insight. You will manage a small team and play a key role in strengthening processes, controls, and overall financial performance.

What will you do as a Finance Manager?
- Oversee the day-to-day finance function
- Manage and support a small finance team
- Supervise purchase ledger and sales ledger activities
- Ensure accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow monitoring
- Maintain and improve financial controls, processes, and procedures
- Oversee bank reconciliations and transactional accuracy
- Support with audit processes and liaise with external accountants
- Maintain financial data within Xero and drive system efficiencies
- Provide financial insight and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Remain hands-on where needed across transactional finance
What do you need as a Finance Manager?
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior finance role
- Strong management accounts and reporting experience
- Comfortable overseeing transactional finance and supporting a team
- Experience with Xero or similar cloud-based accounting systems
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Able to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
