Financial Controller
Full-Time | Remote (UK) | Monthly Meetings in Central London

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to be hands-on and responsible for carrying out all bookkeeping, financial, and administrative tasks across a small group of privately owned companies. Working closely with a UK based multi-exit Founder.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly invoicing and credit control
• Supplier payments and accounts payable
• Monthly management accounts
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Payroll processing
• Annual statutory filings
• Bank reconciliations and cash flow management
• Liaising with external accountants and advisors
• General company administration and reporting

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting, VAT, payroll, and compliance requirements
• Experience preparing management accounts
• Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently
• Proficient with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software

Location:
Remote working with monthly in-person meetings in Central London.

Salary:
£35,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience and skill level, although there is flexibility for the right candidate.
