We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer to join a growing and well established fire and security business covering London and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who specialises in commissioning and wants to work on a mix of commercial and high value projects.
Role Overview
The role will involve commissioning, testing and handover of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial environments. You will play a key role in ensuring systems are delivered to a high standard and fully compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning fire alarm systems on commercial projects
- Working on addressable systems including fault finding and final testing
- Programming and configuration of systems
- Supporting installation teams where required
- Carrying out system handovers and client demonstrations
- Ensuring all works meet BS5839 standards
- Completing all relevant documentation and certification
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer
- Strong knowledge of addressable fire alarm systems
- Experience with Notifier and Advanced systems preferred
- Good understanding of BS5839
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Full UK driving licence
Package
- Salary: £47,000 - £55,000 (DOE)
