We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join a growing and well-established business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and a customer-focused approach who is looking for long-term career progression within a respected company.

As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, and installing fire alarm systems across a range of properties. You’ll act as a key point of contact between the business and clients, ensuring all works are completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out fire alarm servicing, maintenance, repairs, and installation works
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults efficiently
  • Completing reactive and planned maintenance works
  • Producing accurate reports and completing paperwork on time
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with company procedures and industry standards
  • Maintaining excellent customer service and a professional company image
  • Working closely with supervisors, clients, and operational teams
  • Following health & safety and quality management procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in fire alarm servicing, maintenance, installation, and repairs
  • Previous experience within public sector or social housing environments is desirable
  • FIA qualification preferred but not essential
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of fire alarm tools, equipment, and materials
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • IT literate with the ability to complete reports electronically
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
