Fire Alarm Engineer / Fire & Security Engineer

Package Details

• Up to £50,000 basic salary
• 21 days holiday rising to 26 days (inc Birthday off ) 
• 8:00am – 4:30pm working hours (typically early finishes)
• £15 per day standby payment
• 10% commission on upselling and new contracts
• 5% commission on parts changed on jobs
• Predominantly local Berkshire patch

Unlike larger corporate businesses, this company genuinely values work-life balance, keeping travel local where possible and ensuring engineers are not consistently working beyond their contracted hours.

Role Overview

This is a varied position involving service, fault finding, small works, and installations. Sites include hotels, schools, offices, warehouses, and other commercial environments throughout Berkshire and the surrounding areas.

  • Either working across Fire Alarm systems or Fire & Security systems depending on experience 
  • Participation in a 1 in 3 call out rota ( only 3 call outs this year )

Requirements
• Full UK driving licence
• Security systems knowledge beneficial but not essential

The company are happy to consider engineers with predominantly Fire Alarm experience, with Security knowledge viewed as an added bonus rather than a requirement.
