Fire Engineer

An established and rapidly growing Fire Consultancy is seeking a talented Fire Engineer to join its Yorkshire office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Fire Engineer looking to work on high-profile projects whilst developing their technical expertise within a specialist consultancy environment.

The successful Fire Engineer will be involved in delivering fire strategies, engineering assessments, and regulatory advice across a diverse portfolio of projects.

This Fire Engineer role offers excellent project variety and exposure to both new-build and existing buildings. The incoming Fire Engineer will work closely with experienced senior professionals and benefit from structured mentoring towards Chartership.

This Fire Engineer position has arisen due to significant business growth and an expanding client base. The successful Fire Engineer will enjoy genuine progression opportunities within a supportive and ambitious team.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

* Producing fire strategies for a variety of developments

* Undertaking fire engineering calculations and analysis

* Supporting Building Regulations compliance

* Conducting site visits and inspections

* Liaising with architects, contractors, and developers

* Preparing technical reports and client advice

* Supporting Gateway applications

* Attending project meetings

* Degree in Fire Engineering or related discipline

* Consultancy experience

* Knowledge of Approved Document B

* Strong report-writing ability

* Desire to work towards Chartership

* £45,000 - £65,000
