Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum + Overtime

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire and security company. Due to continued growth and an increasing project workload across the South West, our client is looking to add a skilled engineer to their installation team.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Fire & Security Installation Engineer, your duties will include:

• Installation of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems

• Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and residential sites

• Installing and commissioning a range of industry-leading systems

• Ensuring all installations are completed to current industry standards and regulations

• Conducting testing and commissioning of newly installed systems

• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service

• Completing all relevant documentation accurately and on time

• Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team

Skills & Experience Required

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

• Experience installing Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems

• Good understanding of relevant British Standards and industry regulations

• Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills

• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

• Professional attitude with excellent customer-facing skills

• Experience within commercial environments highly desirable

Desirable Qualifications (Not Essential)

• FIA Units

• ECS / CSCS Card

• IPAF

• City & Guilds Electrical Qualification

• Manufacturer training certificates

• Relevant fire and security industry qualifications
