Food Technician

Are you passionate about food and education?

Now Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Loughborough who are looking for a Food Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support practical lessons and play a key role within a busy Design & Technology department.

The Role:

• Preparing ingredients and equipment for Food Technology lessons
• Supporting teachers and students during practical sessions
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies where required
• Ensuring health & safety and food hygiene standards are followed

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working in a kitchen, food prep, or school environment (preferred)
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
• A proactive, organised, and reliable approach
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
