Food Technology Teacher / Instructor – Long Sutton – September 2026 Start

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher / Instructor to join a welcoming secondary school in the Long Sutton area from September 2026.

This is a long-term opportunity teaching Food Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The school is ideally looking for a candidate who is available 5 days per week, although 4 days may be considered for the right applicant.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

  • Plan and prepare lessons in line with the curriculum

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Assess, monitor and support student progress

  • Encourage students to develop confidence and practical skills within Food Technology

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/instructing experience

  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • A passion for inspiring young people through practical learning

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
