Mana Education are working with a successful secondary academy in South Lincolnshire seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term teaching position within a supportive school environment, teaching motivated students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The role is expected to continue until at least the end of December 2026, with the potential for extension.
👩🏫 The Role
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical lessons that inspire students to develop essential cooking, nutrition and food preparation skills.
You will join a supportive department committed to helping students achieve excellent outcomes while encouraging creativity, independence and confidence.
📚 Responsibilities Include:
✨ Planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons
✨ Teaching practical and theory-based Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
✨ Monitoring and assessing student progress
✨ Maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour and safety
✨ Supporting students of varying abilities
✨ Contributing positively to the wider school community
✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
✔️ QTS / equivalent recognised teaching qualification OR relevant experience in UK schools
✔️ Experience teaching Food Technology within UK secondary schools
✔️ Strong classroom management skills
✔️ Excellent subject knowledge
✔️ Passion for delivering engaging practical lessons
✔️ Commitment to raising student achievement
