Foreman – High-End Residential Construction

I am currently working with an ambitious and growing family-run construction business that is looking to appoint an experienced Foreman to join their team.

Specialising in high-end residential refurbishments, extensions, and restoration projects with values of up to £1 million, this business has established an excellent reputation for delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service across every project.

This is a hands-on role that will suit someone from a strong trade background who enjoys leading projects from the front. You will be expected to be actively involved on the tools when required while also taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of projects on site.

Working closely with the directors, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day running of high-end residential refurbishment, extension, and restoration projects
• Leading site operations and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and labour
• Remaining hands-on and working on the tools where required
• Monitoring project programmes and ensuring works are completed on schedule
• Maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and site presentation
• Conducting site inductions and ensuring health and safety compliance
• Liaising with clients, architects, designers, and the company directors
• Identifying and resolving site issues to keep projects progressing smoothly

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Site Supervisor, or similar role within residential construction
• Strong trade background with the ability and willingness to remain hands-on
• Excellent understanding of all phases of construction, from groundwork through to final finishes
• Experience delivering high-end residential projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage site activities effectively
• A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail and quality
