Forklift Driver Warehouse Operative

You must have FLT experience to be considered for this role

We are looking for a number of FLT drivers to start immediately.
Various hours / shifts available

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks and other warehouse management system (WMS) equipment to load and unload goods
• Handle materials with care, ensuring safe and accurate transportation within the warehouse
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
• Conduct mechanical checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Organise materials for storage or dispatch, maintaining accurate records of inventory movements
• Support construction or maintenance activities as required within the warehouse premises
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards

Skills

• Proven experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and safety protocols
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance checks on equipment
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes, including load & unload operations
• Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and long periods of standing or moving around the warehouse
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and inventory management
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
