Head of FP&A | PE-Backed InsurTech | 12-Month Contract | Start Date: 29th June | Urgent Role
A leading PE-backed InsurTech business is seeking an experienced Head of FP&A to join on a 12-month contract starting 29th June. This is a high-priority hire driven by business growth and increased investor reporting demands.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the FP&A agenda in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, providing high-quality insight to support both operational decision-making and private equity stakeholders.
This role requires a commercially minded FP&A leader who can operate confidently at senior level, influence key decisions, and bring structure and clarity to complex financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the FP&A function across budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Deliver clear, actionable financial insight to support commercial and strategic decisions
- Produce investor-ready reporting, analysis, and performance commentary
- Build and enhance financial models, scenario planning, and value creation tracking
- Partner with executive leadership and operational teams across the business
- Improve forecasting accuracy and strengthen planning processes and governance
- Support strategic initiatives including growth planning and efficiency programmes
- Lead and develop FP&A capability within the wider finance team
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Strong track record in Head of FP&A or senior FP&A leadership roles
- Previous experience in PE-backed or high-growth InsurTech/FinTech environments essential
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent financial modelling skills
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, investor-led environments
