An experienced Freelance Site Agent is required for ongoing bridge and viaduct repair / replacement works across Yorkshire.

The role will involve managing structural maintenance and heavy civils packages on highways infrastructure schemes, with a strong focus on safety, programme delivery, quality and stakeholder coordination.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone with a proven background delivering bridge refurbishment, structural repairs and highways civils works within live or challenging environments.

Scope of Works

• Managing bridge and viaduct repair / replacement projects
• Overseeing expansion joint replacements
• Managing bearing replacement works
• Supervising waterproofing and concrete repair packages
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and engineering staff
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
• Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
• Monitoring progress, quality and commercial performance
• Liaising with clients, engineers and project stakeholders
• Driving programme delivery and resolving on-site issues

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Site Agent on highways or major civils infrastructure projects
• Strong background in bridge, viaduct or structural repair works
• Experience managing structural refurbishment and maintenance packages
• Good understanding of temporary works, sequencing and safe delivery practices
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• Temporary Works awareness preferred
• First Aid preferred
• Strong leadership, planning and programme management capability
• Excellent communication and health & safety awareness
