Freight Coordinator

Multimodal Freight Coordinator - Aberdeenshire
Salary: Up to £38,000 (DOE)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multimodal Freight Coordinator to join a well-established and growing logistics operation based in Inverurie. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who can confidently manage end-to-end freight processes across multiple transport modes.

• Coordinate and manage international imports/exports via air, sea, and/or road freight
• Handle end-to-end shipment processes, from booking through to final delivery
• Complete customs entries independently, ensuring full compliance with UK regulations
• Liaise with freight partners, agents, and clients to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues or delays
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all import activities
• Ensure compliance with HMRC and all relevant import/export legislation

• Proven experience in a multimodal import/export or freight forwarding role
• Strong knowledge of UK customs procedures with the ability to complete your own entries
• Experience using customs systems (e.g., CDS or similar)
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
