About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and engaging French Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Leicester. This is a full-time position with an end date to be confirmed, offering an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality French lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Inspire students to develop confidence in speaking, reading, and writing in French
- Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Contribute to the MFL department and wider school community
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching French in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passion for languages and cultural learning
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
