Duties of a Garage Manager:
  • Oversee daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency and high standards
  • Collaborate with the Workshop Manager to meet performance targets and KPI’s
  • Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Manage parts inventory and stock control effectively
  • Handle customer inquiries, authorise repair work, and promote additional services
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Support recruitment, staff training, and development initiatives
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies and industry developments
Requirements of a Garage Manager:
  • Previous experience in automotive management or a senior supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with a proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of workshop health and safety standards
  • Ability to manage operational and administrative duties efficiently
  • Full UK driving licence and work authorisation
