Contract Type: Permanent

Work Schedule: 42 hours per week plus overtime, Travel within the day (no overnight stay)

Role Overview

This is a hands-on technical role that offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Asset Health Assess and report on the condition of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) equipment and systems.
• Maintenance and Repairs Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure system reliability, including electrical maintenance and instrument calibration.
• Timely Delivery Complete work efficiently and in line with statutory requirements.
• Contractor Oversight Supervise third-party work to ensure safety and quality standards.

Requirements

You are a skilled technician with a strong background in electrical and instrumentation systems, or a skilled electrician wanting to progress and develop further skills in instrumentation systems. You also have a commitment to safety and quality.

• Experience Proven experience in an Electrical / Instrumentation / GQ&M environment, including inspection and testing of systems on gas pressure reduction sites.
• Technical Knowledge Familiarity with E&I technical standards, maintenance procedures, and relevant codes of practice.
• Legislation Awareness Understanding of BS7671, EAWR, and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Qualifications NVQ Level 3.
• Eligibility Candidate must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid driving license.
