Description

As the General Manager you will,

  • Ensure the team is supported and developed to meet the growing demands on the site, and create a high performing culture
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Work with central teams to manage inventory ,and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics operations with business objectives
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within logistics operations.
  • Embed a CI approach to evaluate opportunities on site (flow / layout, cost benefit of further automation, org structure & resource allocation)

Profile

A successful General Manager (GM) should have:

  • Proven background in supporting high volume logistics operations with a need for compliance and pick accuracy
  • Proven leadership skills and enable to demonstrate how engagement is built and sustained
  • A solid understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A commitment to achieving operational excellence and CI
