General Operative - Immediate Start

Location: HU9, Hull

Pay Rate: £14.36 per hour (Paid Weekly)

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Must be flexible to work rotating shifts when required:
• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Monday to Friday
• No weekend work

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join a busy and growing flooring and wall-covering manufacturing company based in the HU9 area. This is a hands-on position within a fast-paced production environment and offers a long-term opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the manufacture and processing of flooring products
• Load and unload materials and finished products
• Operate machinery and equipment (full training provided)
• Carry out packing, cleaning, and general production duties
• Perform basic quality checks and report any defects
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Follow all company procedures and health & safety regulations
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets

Requirements

• Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment is preferred
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving materials safely
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to learn new skills
• Able to work rotating shifts when business needs require
