Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership located in Carmarthen, is currently looking to appoint a dedicated and results-driven General Sales Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a motivated sales team, drive sales performance, and enhance customer satisfaction within a well-established dealership environment.

  • Competitive basic salary of up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Uncapped on-target-earnings exceeding £52,000 annually

Duties of the General Sales Manager:
  • Achieve and surpass all sales targets and objectives through effective leadership of the sales team
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maximise profitability from vehicle sales, finance, insurance, and accessories
  • Foster high levels of customer satisfaction to promote retention and repeat business
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to optimise processes, efficiencies, and cost control measures
  • Lead by example, maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service as a General Sales Manager
  • Manage daily dealership operations related to sales activities and team performance management
Requirements of the General Sales Manager:
  • Proven management experience within a franchise-approved car dealership, ideally with exposure to a high-volume brand
  • Strong background in car sales and Finance & Insurance (F&I)
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and highly motivated with a focus on achieving results
  • Stable employment history in the motor trade
  • UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Based in or near Carmarthen, or within a reasonable commuting distance
