An established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Geotechnical Director to lead and grow a high-performing ground engineering capability in Reading.
This is an opportunity for a commercially aware Geotechnical Director to shape technical delivery across complex infrastructure and built environment projects while mentoring a talented team of engineers and consultants.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, oversee project performance, support business development activity, and provide expert technical guidance across geotechnical investigations, reporting, and design solutions. The successful Geotechnical Director will play a key role in driving innovation, maintaining quality standards, and building long-term client relationships.

Ideal candidates will have consultancy leadership experience, strong commercial awareness, and Chartered status or equivalent.

Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Sciences
- Experience in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering
- Live within a commutable distance of their Reading office
- Full UK driving licence
