Tradewind Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a dedicated and energetic Girls PE Teacher on behalf of this Client, a successful secondary school for girls based in Tower Hamlets. This is a full-time opportunity starting in September on a fixed term contract for 1 full academic year.
This Client is seeking a passionate Girls PE Teacher who can deliver engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to contribute to extracurricular sports activities and school competitions. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality PE lessons, promoting healthy lifestyles and physical wellbeing, assessing and monitoring student progress, and encouraging participation and achievement in a variety of sports and activities. You will play an active role within the wider PE department and contribute positively to the school community.
The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification alongside a relevant degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject. This Client is looking for a teacher with strong classroom and behaviour management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the enthusiasm to motivate and inspire students of all abilities. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding, teamwork, and delivering high standards of teaching and learning.
