About the Role
* Long-term Graduate Science Teaching Assistant opportunities starting September 2026
* Full-time roles across secondary schools in Manchester
* Support pupils within the Science department during lessons and interventions
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students
* Opportunities to work as a general Teaching Assistant or support pupils with SEN
* Gain valuable classroom experience working alongside experienced teachers
* Excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers looking towards future teacher training or PGCE study

Person Specification
* UK Bachelor's degree in Science or a related subject
* Strong academic background and excellent subject knowledge
* Passionate about education and supporting young people
* Previous tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or school-based experience desirable
* Interested in pursuing teaching, teacher training, or a PGCE in the future
* Confident communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to commit to long-term work in schools
Essential Requirements
* References covering the last 2 years
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain a new DBS
* Full right to work in the UK
