Graduate/ Structural Engineer

About the Role

We are an established civil and structural engineering consultancy working on a range of residential and commercial projects including new builds, extensions, alterations, and structural surveys.

We are looking for a Graduate or Structural Engineer (0–3 years experience) to join one of our Clients who are a renowed Consultancy firm in South East England and gain hands-on experience across structural design and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with structural design from concept through to completion
• Produce calculations, drawings, and technical reports
• Work on residential and small commercial building projects
• Support senior engineers with ongoing project delivery
• Attend occasional site visits and structural inspections
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and design team members

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng)
• 0–3 years’ experience in structural engineering (graduates considered)
• Experience using AutoCAD
• Understanding of structural design principles (steel, concrete, masonry)
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a small team
• Full UK driving licence preferred

Software Experience (Desirable)

• AutoCAD (essential)
• TEDDS / MasterSeries / similar structural software
