Graduate Structural Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer to join a well-established and growing structural engineering consultancy based in Oxford.

Working across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, historical and sustainable building projects, this role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience within a supportive and close-knit team environment. The consultancy has built a strong reputation for delivering practical, innovative and cost-effective structural solutions across Oxfordshire and the wider UK.

This position would suit a recent graduate, or someone with up to 1 year of industry experience, who is eager to develop technically, learn from experienced engineers and build a long-term career within structural engineering.

• Assist with the structural design of projects across a range of sectors
• Work with steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures
• Support senior engineers with calculations, drawings and technical reports
• Attend site visits and project meetings
• Gain exposure to refurbishment, heritage and sustainable construction projects
• Develop knowledge of UK design standards and engineering software

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Strong academic background and genuine enthusiasm for structural engineering
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Motivated, proactive and keen to learn
• Any placement or internship experience within engineering would be advantageous
