We are looking for a Maths or Civil Engineering graduate to join a growing Transport Planning team in Bristol as a Graduate Transport Planner.

This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in transport planning, with an initial focus on traffic analysis and transport modelling software, alongside the chance to develop broader consultancy skills over time.

🚀 The Role

You will start by building strong technical foundations in transport data and modelling. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting traffic analysis and transport modelling using specialist software
• Working with datasets to produce accurate, meaningful outputs
• Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and transport assessments
• Supporting senior consultants on development and infrastructure projects

As your experience grows, you will gain wider exposure across the team, including:

• Transport assessments and development planning support
• Site feasibility and transport appraisal work
• Client and stakeholder project support
• Involvement in a wide range of live consultancy projects

🎓 About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Mathematics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• An interest in transport, infrastructure, or the built environment
• Good attention to detail and communication skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new software and techniques

No prior industry experience is required, as full training will be provided.
