Pay Rate: £12.87 per hour
Working Hours:
42 hours per week
Monday to Friday
07:00 – 15:30
Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Person to join our team. The role involves maintaining outdoor spaces to a high standard, supporting general grounds maintenance, and ensuring sports pitches are prepared and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grass cutting, mowing, and strimming
- Use of power tools and grounds maintenance equipment
- Marking out football pitches
- Operating trackers and related equipment
- General grounds maintenance duties
- Chemical control (if holding PA1–PA6a licence)
Requirements:
- Experience in grounds maintenance or similar role preferred
- Ability to safely use power tools
- PA1–PA6a licence desirable (for chemical control duties)
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Good work ethic and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
